Take A Peek Inside This Majestic Log Cabin

  • by

This beautiful craftsman log cabin design is a wonderful example of the honesty and simplicity of classic American architecture, and it has so many appealing features. It is characterized by a low-sloped, gabled roof with a sizable overhang and open rafters. All or part of the width of the house is taken up by porches that are supported by tapered columns or pedestals that reach down to the floor. Log cabins like this one frequently use a mix of different types of natural building materials. This log cabin plan makes full use of its riverfront location with a spacious main floor, generously proportioned bedrooms and a loft, and numerous outdoor decks. It’s a good size for year-round or seasonal use, and there’s plenty of room for visitors in the log cabin. The first story has 1,696 square feet and the second floor has 1,376 square feet for a total of 3,072 square feet of living area.
