An ancient train car was renovated into a classy and eco-friendly dwelling.
Upon learning of the abandoned train lines in the Central Otago area of New Zealand’s South Island, a couple decided to turn one of them into their ideal home.
After 8 years of hard labor and patience, they were able to tell themselves that they had found a piece of their own paradise, despite the skepticism they had encountered and the concerns they had had about the conversion.
