The log cabin is located in a small neighborhood with several antique wood cabins on a slope above downtown. When residents initially settled in the Estes Valley, the wood cabin was in one of the first neighborhoods. The wood cabin is older than most other cabin structures in the area, but it has been well-maintained and is in excellent condition. You’ll appreciate being able to walk to town from the cabin and then return home to relax in the hot tub. After that, you can rest in front of the fireplace by lounging on the sofa.
There are other wood cabins nearby, so this isn’t your best pick if you’re looking for complete privacy, but you won’t find many vacation rentals that offer the fantastic combination of views, a hot tub, outside deck, fireplace, full kitchen, and the ability to walk to town. The cabin construction has one bedroom and two Ikea ottomans that convert to single beds, which can accommodate two more people. After a long day of hiking, there is a nice mattress to assure a good night’s sleep. The wood cabin is a warm and inviting environment with wood-paneled walls and north-facing windows that allow you to view the sunrise over Lumpy Ridge as you wake up.
There is a large dining room table and a comfortable couch where you may relax while watching Netflix on the fast WiFi. During your vacation stay, you are welcome to light the fireplace; it is an electric fireplace, yet the flames flicker on the warm wood walls, creating a wonderful mood. Off the front entrance is an outdoor deck with a grill that overlooks Lumpy Ridge and is ideal for grilling. The hot tub comfortably accommodates two persons, but more might be squeezed in if necessary. The patio is surrounded by a modest fence providing seclusion from the neighbors’ wood cottages, but the northern side is open to allow you to enjoy the view of the mountains. Beautiful mountain views surround the wood cabin, which you may enjoy throughout your visit.
