It comfortably sleeps 5 people. It’s a cute and quaint little home base for visiting Utah’s Mighty 5 National Parks or simply relaxing and enjoying Monroe Mountain, Hot Springs, ATV trails, fishing, hiking, and wildlife, which are all close by. During the summer, you may witness paragliders and hang-gliders land right across the street. Wood is used throughout the home, and it is designed in a cabin style that you will enjoy.
You can go out of the loft and onto the upper deck to enjoy beautiful views of the Tushar Mountain range, The Cove Basin, Pahvant Mountain range, and Monroe Mountain throughout your vacation stay. You may gaze up at the stars while cooking marshmallows and enjoying s’mores.
Watch the paragliders from the front porch while grilling a wonderful supper. Take in the beautiful sunsets while relaxing on an outdoor futon/pull-out bed on the west side porch. It’s a terrific place to work from home or eat breakfast on the porch at the table supplied. Next door is a side-by-side rental, as well as an RV park with a tiny convenience store offering hard ice cream and sweets (coming soon).
The historic white dairy barn, about 50 yards behind the wood cottage, has piqued the interest of several visitors. It was known as the Hi Roe dairy barn, and it was a co-op of 13 families, including the owner’s ancestors, who built and owned it jointly. It was built exactly at the end of Monroe’s main street since it was a prominent edifice. You’ll note that they’ve begun acquiring construction materials and have plans to reconstruct the barn, just as this small cabin was erected from an old grainery on a different property in town.
Due to its historical significance, the owners have decided to reconstruct it into something cool rather than demolish it. You should be aware that the displayed hammock has been changed owing to safety concerns regarding the cement beneath it. They’ve replaced it with their preferred viewing location, depending on whether they want to see the sunrise or paragliders in the East or the sunset in the West.
There is plenty of space for ATV trailers and other vehicles around the cabin building. The owners adore their pets and enjoy taking them on vacations, so you are free to bring them along as long as they are closely monitored by their owners (Please maximum of 2 unless special permission is given). It’s a good idea to bring your pet’s beds/blankets with you so they may lounge/sleep.
Available for rent at AirBnb.
