Located in the remote wooded community of Weybourne Forest, Liz’s Lodge is a fantastically beautiful Scandinavian A-frame home. The cabin’s owner has created a really relaxing and comfortable environment with exquisite, modern furnishings that are in keeping with the cabin’s gorgeous, serene setting.
There are two full bathrooms and three bedrooms in the lodge. The beautiful open floor layout and abundance of natural light are enhanced by a transparent wall that frames a view of the forest beyond. By just sliding open the door, you can transform this room into an excellent spot for entertaining, unwinding, and taking in the scenery. Enjoy al fresco eating on one of two decked, glazed balconies when the weather is nice, or simply relax and take in the expansive Norfolk sky and singing birds. Weybourne Station, where the Poppy line steam train departs for Holt and Sheringham, can be reached by walking down the hill a short distance. The main village, with its well-stocked general store and excellent tavern, can be reached in approximately twenty minutes by foot. At regular intervals throughout the year, the Coasthopper bus travels between Kings Lynn and Cromer, making stops in all of the coastal settlements along the way.
You can’t get much closer to the North Norfolk Coastal Path than Liz’s Lodge, and if you’re an exercise enthusiast, you won’t be disappointed by the proximity to Sheringham Park and Kelling Heath, both of which are owned by the National Trust, and the North Norfolk Coastal Trail, which is just two miles away by car. Liz’s Lodge is conveniently located within a short drive of Sheringham, Cromer, and the charming Georgian market town of Holt, making it ideal for vacationers at any time of year.
Weybourne, a small beach village in north Norfolk between Holt and Sheringham. Weybourne Station is located on the Holt to Sheringham line of the North Norfolk Railway, where visitors can ride a steam train or vintage diesel train, or simply watch the trains go past. Weybourne Woods is home to a number of well-marked trails, including a path that leads directly to the beach and on to Sheringham along the coast. Since it is located on the shore, the sea is never far away. Particularly as the sun sinks into the water at the end of the day, the beach is a stunning location to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the waves rolling in and receding.
